Frank,

That Medium Transfer stuff is what I've been looking for but didn't know the name. I hope it's available at my local art store.

So where can I find Frank G. miniatures and dollies?

According to the Golden Paints website, any acrylic gel medium can be used for this sort of artwork transfer: http://www.goldenpaints.com/technicaldata/transimg.php

Golden has some examples here: http://www.goldenpaints.com/artist/directransfer.php

Note that you must use a laser printer (or photocopier) for this, inkjet printers won't work, apparently.

Very cool, I think I've solved the issue of doing more complicated Russian Civil War banners, and I'll be off to our awesome local art supply store next payday!

Last week I was finally able to finish the camp. Fortunately, the manufacturer Zvezda delivers on this subject almost a complete set of figures. The element is the headquarters of Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Superb!

One question: What is that massive thing on the kneeling fellow's back? I've seen those in the computer game "Shogun" and thought they looked damn odd then. Is it an airbag in case he falls off his horse?  :)
