Looks like the rules translate fairly well with a bit of work.

Lovely terrain and figures.

Like the look of your game.
Troops and terrain are great.
Sounds like you like the rules.

Hi. I used BA straight out of the box for SCW. Mostly riflemen, a couple of LMGs and the odd SMG. Ohh and an A/C

It worked a treat.

La Legion - Elite
Asaltos - Regulars
Brigaders - Regulars
Militia - Concripts

We had the Legion as a mix of Veterans and Regulars, Moroccans as Regular, the International Brigade as a mix of Regular and Inexperienced, and the Anarchist Militia as Inexperienced.
Can't see anyhing wrong with the rules so far, they were quick, and dead easy to pick up
I did mumble and mutter about buying the special dice, but it does make life a lot easier to use them.
Most folks will be happy just to do whatever they fancy with the lists, adapting the existing ones to fit in with what they have. I am a bit more of a saddo when its comes to SCW, so expect a rambling selection of arty farty lists, to cover all combatants, organised in a semblance of date order. Most of which will get roundly ignored by most gamers  lol :D

Lot of work to do on them, not as simple as I thougth it would be, as each list wil need some decent background detail. :o

I recently played a few games. I felt that the ruleset is quick and simple, and with the pinning effects, it recreates the reality of war and how troops would respond to being under fire, along with the fog of war elements in the scenarios. I did however have my tiger 1 and hanomag eliminated by a couple of lucky shots from a churchill and sherman!
I love all forms of wargaming and model making, provided it is in good taste.
