The Wurttemburg and Baden Divisions.
From the 13:00 German turn, during the attachment phase, onwards a D6 is rolled for the Wurttemburg Division to start to arrive. The numbers that are needed are identified above. Once achieved you start the arrival procedure and no longer need to roll the dice. On the turn that the dice roll is achieved the Wurttemburg Division Commander and any 4 units arrive between the Points marked C.  These units arrive in any desired formation, whilst all others arrive in column of march or limbered. Each German turn after this 4 more Wurttemburg units arrive. The turn after all the Wurttemburg units have arrived the Baden Division may start arriving. The German player decides if he wishes this unit to appear. If they do appear they come on in groups of 4 units as above. In addition the Germans lose 10 victory points if the Baden Division is committed to action.

 :o Awsome!

I'm still looking for a good FPW range to replace the old chunky Foundry line. I see some conversions there. What figures did you use?

Very impressive.

Some of those fellas are time-travellers. From the Renegade Great War range. Luckily the uniforms aren't all that different, so the dodge works unless you examine them really, really closely.

I think the secret of the French victory in the refight was their 1886 Lebels. Cheaters! ;)

Do you think there's a market for a new 28mm FPW range? I'm thinking Perry/Hicks/Saleh quality figures. What are the best rules for battalion up to divisional level games?

It would be interesting to find out what amendments you use.
Ranges of Chassepot, Pruss rifle
How you play the superior  German artillery.
Command value for both sides.
Troop morale, Do you give the Pruss a higher morale save?
Any details would very helpful to get the correct feel for FPW
with Black powder.
Thank you
Cecil

This is the clubs version of the rules, other wargamers have differant ranges for there Franco Prussian games but we have had alot of 1870-71 battles and we feel this gives the correct feel of the period, cavalry can never be hit in the flanks only in the rear as the flanks of regiments had semi circles of skirmishers to counter this, its a case of waiting for the right moment to come in cavalry, any questions just feel to ask will help you as much as i can, i think we did change the Prussian line from steady to crack.
