Phantom Ace in the Death Trap! -- Pulp Alley AAR
« on: January 13, 2013, 01:34:28 AM »
With playtesters eager to test the new Weird abilities and perks, I can’t keep up with all the games that are going on. Some of the new stuff that’s receiving a lot of attention are Shapeshifter, Cursed Presence, Creatures, Cults, Minions, and a bunch of other weirdness.

The game: Pulp Alley – including new playtest rules
The scenario: Death Trap! – basic scenario #5. This scenario was played as a 2-player game, with one leader separated from their colleagues and surrounded by the enemy.
The leagues:  Phantom Ace (defender’s goal = survival), Dr. Phlebo (attacker’s goal = KO or capture Phantom Ace!)

Sometime after midnight, in a dark alleyway, Phantom Ace is surrounded by red-robed fanatics!

Far off, in the nearby foothills, Ace’s trusty sidekicks approach the town in search of their missing leader…

Under the watchful eyes of his rooftop snipers, Dr. Phlebo approaches an informant. Talkative? Yes, but what language is it? Dr. Phelbo fails to complete the challenge…

Meanwhile, Phantom Ace swiftly moves down the alley, firing his trusty colt.  The cultists close in and soon there is no escape!...

Very nice AAR. I like all of the pots, barrels and boxes. Makes the terrain look really good.

Great report thanks. I love your attention to detail setting up the terrain for this. The town is very atmospheric with the barrels etc. and all the houses packed close together give a great feel for a pulp battle. Thanks!

Very nice layout, sir! The photos really give the sense of the close-quarters skirmishing in the town.
