The Siege of Pyddle Down Manor ~ picture heavy
« on: January 19, 2013, 09:00:47 AM »
Phil and I played an ECW siege game yesterday to celebrate the publication of A Crowning Mercy, my new rules for the ECW {available from Caliver Books }

Just to show what they look like, so you can rush out and buy one!!!

Pyddle Down Manor ~ a general view of the hasty defences

Obadiah Bykleigh's Council of War consider the defence of the manor

Sir Marmaduke Robinson's forces gather for the final assault

A mortar shell sets the roof of the manor ablaze

The mine is detonated under the corner of the outer defences

A Forlorn Hope aided by Robinson's Whitecoats have breached the outer defences

With the manor well ablaze, Obadiah Bykleigh seeks the honours of war from his opponent...

Cracking looking game as always.  ;D

Subtle bit of product placement in Picture 1!  :o
