Tents and other Renedra bits
« on: January 21, 2013, 07:40:21 AM »
A few weeks ago I ordered a few Renendra plastic scenery items from J&M Minis in Ontario and reviewed them on my blog.

As a side-project while plowing through a few dozen RCW Russian figures, I cleaned up and painted the first sprue of Renedra tents.

I don't usually base buildings, but decided to base these tents, mostly because it makes the tents with open doors look better. Just a basic sand & grit ground cover for now, but I'll do some grass on the bases eventually, especially on that larger base with the two small tents on it.

Good stuff!  I like the way you painted them.

Also, thanks for putting a miniature in there - I don't have the bigger tents and wondered how they scaled up...   :)

Good review, and you purchased them from a good company.

I actually give the dimensions of all three types of tent in the review I link to in my initial posting, but sometimes just being able to scale stuff against a miniature is easier!

I just noticed that the lower-left small tent looks lopsided; that's some sort of photographic artifact and not something present in the real tents, which are all symmetrical!
