A Brügelburg Peasant
« on: January 21, 2013, 09:30:58 PM »
I know the Prof will be annoyed I am only posting part one of the duo inspired by Albrecht Dürer's "Three peasants in conversation", but I had such fun painting him, that I'd like to show him off now. :) Brügelburg minis are are such funny looking figures, full of mirth and character. The faces especially are loads of fun to paint, but also quite challenging I find.

I wanted to go for a less colourful look, as this guy is a peasant. The cadmium red jerking is sadly not coming out that well on the photo... That's a pity, because I love this colour.

Part two of the duo is still unfinished, but I'll rectify that soon enough. :)

The photo really doesn't do it justice, it looks so much better in real.

High class paintwork, now keep it coming!

Thank you, gents! Prof, yessir!  :D

I really have no idea how to take a picture of this fella. I guess it's because of my colour choice!

Good work, I like the subdued color.
