i finished a few more recruits to my growing gang.

And finally, I thought I'd try my hand at a couple of Plague Zombies. I wanted to get a feel for painting much more rotting, putrid skin as well as blood splatter.

With those done It's onto my Scalies. I'm currently looking for some good techniques for dirt and mud for the Scavvies clothes that wont get washed away in the browns already, so I'm going to experiment with the orange and brown mix mentioned by Major_Gilbear. After that, if i feel brave enough I may look into weathering powders and seeing how they go. I also think a trip to the local arts shop is in order to get an extremely fine brush to try and start painting their eyes too.

Due to having a serious back injury, I haven't had chance to do any painting (or much of anything else) for a while, but luckily, I'm on the mend and wanted to get right back to my Scavvies, and crack on with my long over due Scalies, and also a Scavvy thats been sitting half painted since before my injury.... I pretty happy with how they turned out, although I'll be returning to them later as I found it difficult to sit properly while painting. When I'm 100% i think i'll detail the scales a little more :D
