Thanks for the feedback everyone.  Its a couple of MVPs finished next Id say, with the Forgefathers planned as the next full team.

I just got a quick job done on this little pink guy/gal, "Number 88".

Numerous shortcuts taken (and there were some stinker mould lines that made things difficult) but the end result is pleasing enough.

Well now there's a colour scheme I wouldn't have expected! It looks like a suit of squishy gross fleshy bits. (Which is really cool by the way) What made you choose that direction?

I dont know why I went with pink really. I painted a few Eldar pink just over twenty years ago and found that its a color that I enjoy painting, so that has something to do with it.

The figure looks a bit Power Rangery and pink is often associated with that franchise, plus Number 88 is of indeterminate gender so pink seemed apt.

Mostly I think its that I just like painting pink though :)

Slippery Joe here is the marauder MVP (Star Player).  I painted him to match my BP Oilers scheme:

Joe doesnt need a number, hence "Joe".  A little more on my blog.

Im working on my Ursa Miner Bruins forgefather team at the moment.  I hope to have them completed next week.

I finished these guys late last night and unwisely stayed up a bit later to photograph them.  This was a bit unwise as the photos are a bit sub par, but there you go.

The "Ursa Miner Bruins"

I painted up some Warpath forgefathers last year (the "Ursa Miners") and I decided to use the same palette on the Bruins.  With the Bruins representing a sports team rather than a military force, I emphasised the brighter colours on them.

A pair of Ursa Miner Steel Warriors.

A pair of U.M. Bruins Jacks.

More photos and info on my blog.

One more team, four MVPs and a trophy and I will have painted everything from the first first Kickstarter shipment.  I am pretty pleased about that progress :)

Very dark...very cool. Once again, completely not what I'd have chosen, but looks great.

Thanks :)

Making sure that a scheme is relatively quick to pull off is the absolute priority for me.  The colours chosen for a project (including the Bruins) almost always reflect technical, speed of application reasons for me.  I have enough half-finished and paid-for-but-unstarted projects, so I try to avoid as many things that might make a project stall - like very ambitious colour combinations - as I possibly can.

cor that looks a bit nice.

Thanks.  I cant really see them objectively yet as I only finished them late on Wednesday evening.  I need to put them away for a couple of weeks and then take a look before I can get some sort of perspective.

Veer-myn or some MVPs next.

The largest element painted since the last update was the Rekall Rentokillaz veer-myn team.

I also got a couple of MVPs and a coach painted.

I did a quick, somewhat uninspired job on the trophy too.  Not really a priority that model :)

More photos etc on my blog.  All of that stuff means that I have got Season 1 finished, just in time for the release of Season 2.  I am pleased with my progress :)

Fantastic looking all around. And I'm envious too, because I'm nowhere near finished painting my season 1 stuff.

I painted up these old Blood Bowl figures for use in DreadBall recently.  I have a few other 2nd edition Blood Bowl figures that I reckon are suitable for DreadBall use in the pipeline too.  I neglected these figures for nearly twenty five years...

More info on my blog as usual.

Thanks for the feedback guys :)

Another old repurposed 2nd ed BB figure, Barik Farblast is perfect as a proxy keeper.

I painted the bazooka in the same way that I paint the bases, to give it a sort of TRON style rather than have it look like a piece of military equipment.  I like how it turned out.

I added a few more auxiliary players to my DreadBall stuff.  Links to my blog posts regarding them are under each photo, in case anyone wants to see a couple more photos of each.

Hasslefree Libby joins the OCP Patriots

Barik Farblast and Flint Churblade join the Ursa Miner Bruins.

Lastly I added a psychic purple cat (think "Gyrinx" if you are a Rogue Trader grognard type) as an Offensive Coach.

I have started work on my Judwan team, so its likely that they will be up next.
