Hello,

i'm not dead, just a little busy :p

but now let's go for the real construction !

There is 3 parts (for the moment) :

- Left : the house with removable flour and roof, also a staircase and furniture.
- Middle : the stable, with openable doors
- right : a barn with equipment and armament

The colours of the back wall is not finished, maybe i'll change for a brown like the house.

I had to sleep, but tomorrow the continuation :p

Lapin, that looks great. Will you be using thatch or shingles for the roof?

I like how you have sculpted/carved the large wooden beams. They are beautiful.

Cheers
Matt.

Hi all !

Thanks for comments, i hope i'll continue to make good stuff wich will be appreciated :)

Here is the stable with ended roofs

The inside of the roof (very easy structure, but very strong because of the white glue)

Seen by the ground

Soon, the painting !  roofs will be black with grey clarification, pavement will be light brown.
For the meadow, i need some sands before finish it.
On the extreme right, i shall add certainly a dovecote.

That's a place one would like to visit, should it be real.

Hi all,

i stopped the stable because i had to make a giant fortress for an order.
End of work in December or january...

Here, just 10% of the polystyren needed to the construction...

it was the second day of work, some walls and tower for the donjon in progress..

And after 2 hours of work, you can imagine a little, the futur shape of the donjon.

The base is 40cm X 40 cm  ans the height is 30cm without roof.

This tower is based on a real tower in France, i'll show you soon which it is...

WOW :o :-*

What a fantastic bit of work! Whoever commissioned THAT is really going to get something to be really proud of!

One question: how do you get the blue foam sheet around the tubes? Whenever I've tried this, the foam just breaks up into pieces :'(
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!
