1/6th scale Dora
« on: February 04, 2013, 03:06:25 PM »
Here's the original in 1/1.

And a 1/35th kit

But this bloke has made an Action Man scaled model, I'm sure it'll be the next big wargaming scale, don't you think?

Tons of WIP photos: http://www.vonabt.co.uk/models/Dora/index.html
I can't grab a picture so you'll have to click if you're interested.

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Why, though?  :?

Had to laugh as the first thing I was thinking of was 'who needs a 1/6 scale Dora the Explorer'...........having young children tends to change your mindset  lol

Had to laugh as the first thing I was thinking of was 'who needs a 1/6 scale Dora the Explorer'.

I searched for Dora and expected to get a wiki page or something for the railway gun. Instead, I got about bazillion results for "Dora the Explorer" and thought who the **** is that...

Still no idea. And no, don't tell me. I believe I'm significantly happier without that bit of information.

Anyway, my favourite sentence for this week is: "I have looked at my 1/16 DORA for some years and wondered what it would look like in 1/6th."

Belongs to a "you know you're a proper wargamer" thread.
