Hi all, right then where do I start. I am afraid that I am not the best with computers (in fact I’m about as much use as a handbrake on a canoe) so I am still reading through the help on here to learn how to upload photos. Once I’ve managed that I’ll have to learn how to photograph my figures, as what I know about photography you could write on my thumbnail with a three inch wide crayon.
However, I promise to sort these failings out and get some posting done. Hobby wise I have collections in 28mm Napoleonics, Sikh wars, WW2, Darkest Africa and Dark Ages. 15mm Ancients, WW2 and Colonials.
I came late to the hobby really (30 years old) but I’ve been at it now some 21 years. Just decided to ditch the rat race(I mean work) and taken early retirement. This is going to allow me to do more of what I like best, wargaming.
My favourite rules are “The sword and the flame” and I use these for most periods, but for my Napoleonics I use Neil Thomas’s excellent rules which I have heavily modified for my own use.
I am based in the South Wales area of the UK, and have my own war games room/shed, so if your nearby give me a shout for a game.
Cheers for now Jeff.
