If it's like their other plastics - I doubt it.  While they make nice stuff, they seem to stick to "en masse" bread and butter poses.  Not much in the way of dynamism or skirmish...ism.  So, lots of bulk soldiers for a reasonable cost.  Looks good, I just wish Perry's were a tiny bit bigger.

and I would like to see a bit more variety in the uniform suggestions - I am kind of missing the regular loyalists
a bit too much red....
and maybe also what other than british might go with the figures, if it is possible anyway

If it's like their other plastics - I doubt it.  While they make nice stuff, they seem to stick to "en masse" bread and butter poses.

I think this is true of Alan Perry's 'big battalions' output - Napoleonic, ACW, and now AWI. He seems to favour just one or two poses per set. So these AWI Brits can basically be at the advance or at trail - and that's it. But this isn't the case with Michael Perry's work. The WOTR sets are genuinely multipose - you can create pretty much endless permutations, particularly once you start mixiing the sets. Same with the Sudanese ansar (which I think were by Michael). And clearly it's going to be the case with the forthcoming WWII Western Desert sets. True multipose versatility. So personally, I'd like to see more of Michael's work and less of Alan's making it through the Renedra bottleneck. But I appreciate there are legions of Napoleonic and ACW fans out there who will disagree  :)

Now that you mention it, you're right.  I have a single box of WOTR and it's quite brilliant...I was thinking merely of the Cavalry and Infantry boxes for the ACW that I have.  I don't have a problem with bread and butter units really, as there are tons of great AWI models out there to choose from.

It seems you should be able to use arms from their Napoleonic British Line Infantry box, since the armament is very nearly the same, and so are the cuffs. At worst you'd need to remove some wings (since lights and grenadiers are not represented here), and be careful of which poses you use since the manual of arms updated with changes the position of loading and fixing bayonets between these two wars.
And if the 3rd India Pattern Bess is noticeably different from the 2nd Short Land at this scale, then Bravo Perry Brothers!

In any case, i can't wait for these figures. They're what I've been hoping for since the first plastic ACW sculpts were announced...
