I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

Its a Grizzly Bear produced by Schleich which makes a lot of pre-painted plastic animals. Got it off Amazon for about 5 GBP.

I think the world created in the book series lends itself perfectly for gaming. I'm modifying rules from Contemptible Little Armies (an amazing WWI rules set) and Valor & Steel & Flesh (a good VSF rules set)

Schleich also does a lot of 1:48 prepainted toy dinosaurs that are absolutely ace for using in 28 mm pulp/lost world/sci-fi wargaming (a bit on the large side, but who can tell?).

They also have a fantasy range with prepainted dragons fit for fielding in any fantasy setting. My daughter bought one that I intend to borrow now and then  ;)

I've often been thinking that it would be nice if they'd extend the 1:48 range with all kinds of animals.

Unfortunately not. This is my first time using the sculpting clay and I'm not good enough to sculpt the right shape legs. I also let it dry and after the fact thought about sticking the old legs in the stuff to make it look like they where coming through holes. Bit of a learning curve lol
