Get thee behind me with your Victorian goodliness, foud myself looking at Ironclad miniatures, Erueka and Paroom Station minis this morning, swine, you cads and bounders.

I did notice some nice characters and tease of some thugs on the Iron Clad site, sounds good for my Gangs of New York

Go on you know you want to :)

Fiend, nope I shall resist but the thugs do sound good and the Egor and Grim ben figures look good

I did a little bit a few years ago but sold everything off, mostly I was scratch building vehicles and weird contraptions for racing cant remember the rules but they were by Walt O Hara.

Answers to questions on the game:

I think the bike is a conversion of

and

http://eurekamin.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=87_126_153_162&products_id=1919

both by eureka minis

Well spotted that man - it is indeed a combination of Eureka's Rail Baron and Welwyn Shaftsbury figures.

By the way, the tractor contraption behind the British Lightning Cannon? What's that? I'm guessing a conversion, very nice, most excellent.

The gun tractor is actually model of an early fire American fire engine - noticed purely by chance attached to a 'part works' magazine on (strangely enough) fire engines. In the game its huge boiler is the power source for the lightning cannon.

Beautifully done, the whole works! I haven't seen VSF armies that size ever. You fellows are magnificent.

That was a man on a bicycle wasn't it?    I think you would have to be nuts to charge into battle on a bike even a steam powered one.

That spider and the rest of the vehicles look great where did you get them from.

Sorry if i missed an earlier answer.

Cheers

The Spider is from Ramshackle Games. The armoured car is Ironclad miniatures and the Prussian Tank is Sir Henry Bullshott's beautiful scratchbuilt model.

Bicyles are the new mechanised horse don't ya know. Its the future of mounted combat my good fellow

I have to admit my materialistic contribution to the game was rather feeble as much of my collection is work in progress. The pictures dont do justice to Malamute's and Bullshott's collections, they're excellent!

Sorry to rub it in but it was a great game. I took some pictures on my mobile, once I worked out how to get them onto the PC I'll post them.

As for a Prussian victory, that is simply down to the irresponsibe but enjoyable beer consumption of the Brit command.
Don't!

Your painting is spot on, :)  when you get around to finishing your home service Brits, my chaps will be proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with your men to bring this dastardly invasion to an end.

Irresponsible Beer consumption - did we? I can't remember :D

Then it shall be so. I'll bring the beer by the way.  :)

Malamute and Thunderchicken - thanks for a great game. It was good to meet you both at last. My spider tank commander is looking forward to walking all over Thunderchickens's home service Brits too!

News Flash! British government sources have revealed that Lord Flasheart is believed to have not been killed, but merely rendered unconcious when his penny farthing's boiler exploded. He is believed to be held prisoner by the Hun somewhere to the south of London. British Special Service agents are looking for him even as this is published.

[Essentials for gaming the rescue - a captured manor house used as a Prussian hospital, nurses, a bald Prussian intelligence officer with monocle, a beautiful Prussian countess and big German hunting dogs - also mandatory viewing before the game of the Black Adder episode when he gets captured by the Germans.]
