Thanks!!

I think I´m ready to show my first almost finished Warband (I´d like to add a lot more miniatures, so it is a Basic Warband at the moment). The first miniature I´m going to show is the Leader or Legend which is what they call him according to the Fanticide book. I have used a Pig-faced Orc leader from Otherworld miniatures. I have painted his skin brown instead of green. In some parts of his exposed skin I have painted clearer spots or patches as if he had some kind of skin disease or sun allergy. I´ll use that colour palette in the whole warband.

More and bigger pictures on my blog, just in case you want to visit it, http://einarolafson.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/fanticide-pig-faced-orch-warlord.html.

Cheers.

Stunning and gorgeous, as usual.

Nice clothwork, and the shield is a nice touch.

That's the style Orc that I first encountered in my initial foray into D&D. Other World does a much more state of the art mini than those old Mini Figs; your LOVELY paint job is likewise more state of the art...love the cloak. VERY WELL DONE!

Love that Orc (could it be the brown skin?). Fantastic paint job on the skin, the cloak (out of this world), the shield (really like the wood grain behind the shield), everything about this paint job is outstanding.

I keep having to go back and look at him.

Great stuff,
 Damien

Thank you for your comments!! I love this project, in fact I think I have never painted so many miniatures for the same thing (along with my Cthulhu project).

This armoured Orc from Otherworld Miniatures will be a Master, which is what the less powerful leaders are named according to Fanticide. When I have more miniatures ready he´ll just be a Legend´s retinue warrior.

Fantastic! Really love how you painted his helmet. BTW how fast are you painting? These guys would take me a week (at least) each. Seems like you are getting one done a day  ;)

Cheers,
