Some impressive work there, Andy!
That stonework is really well done and as for that skirting: I have seen modern houses looking less well tended.

This coming from the builder of one of thee best boards ever!! ;)

Cheers guys!

My thinking with the other levels is going to be roughly the same as for the ground floors, ill leave the fixtures separate. So I'll do different styles of windows, double and single that'll fit into the same spaces on the model. It's only are start for ideas and I'm afraid it's in pencil....

I found this on the net as well which I find very inspirational for this part. The windows in the top middle pic are different from anything I'd seen before...

And here's the start of one of the upper levels...

I'll put some more timber down the sides.

Lovely will definitely use a few of these in my new project.
For further inspiration you could look here: http://www.wealddown.co.uk/
Just down the road from me, I am going there in a couple of weeks for researching some buildings I wish to make, if you like I could publish them as a thread here.

Those columns on the bottom right actually remind me of Ratniks Breugelburg cannon!  That's a good association!  lol

Cheers guys!

@Elysium64- that's some good stuff on that site mate! Thanks! Feel free if you want to post it.

@Fram- I'll try and get some different styles of chimney for the top of the stacks and to add on to the roof.

Saying that your work here is going on the right direction, that it's great, you're producing a beautiful house, etc... would only evidence my lack of words to describe the magnificent job you are doing. :-* :o

Excellent work there Andy, bringing your usual style to the project.  Almost time to give up the day job!  :)

Any reference I can find, Admiral, doesn't seem to show it much different from what I'm doing.

Do you mean the corner stones should protrude a bit more from the wall or should the whole wall be thicker or should the corner stones just be a lot bigger than the other brickwork?

Sorry for the delay, Andy. I didn't keep in mind that you would fill in some of the joints, so now everything looks fine. Protruding corner stones could be an alternative or variation.
 :)

Thanks very much guys!!

I would love to! :D ;)

Just a wee update. The first of the upper floors is pretty much finished. Just a bit of tidying here and there. I've also made the first of my windows. This will end up being the most basic design. I'll try something a bit more ambitious next...
