Trying to find more ruins of the same type
« on: February 23, 2013, 10:01:54 PM »
While hunting in the 'local' games shop ( Archeron Games Hull ) I found a great set of painted resin ruins that I have not seen before and would like to buy more.

Unfortunately, the owners had no idea where they came from as they where a trade in and had not seen them before they bought them (and no details of who was kept).

The painting looks machine done and the base of each wall is machine sanded.  Resin is a grey colour and very bubble free.

Any ideas who made these and if they are still available?  Even a couple of more bits of the same would be fine.

TIA
Andrew

eps - Hammers, not sure if this is the correct place  :(  Feel free to move if not...

Big thank you Drunkendwarf  :)

Now I know who they are from I'll keep my eye open - a quick search shows then at around £14 - only 7 times what I paid!!!

Oh shoot! I've seen a website with these for sale in stock VERY RECENTLY (last two weeks, I should think), but damned if I can remember where!  :(

You could approximate these walls pretty well with HirstArts blocks; esp. Fieldstone.
understanding is a three-edged sword

What about these:

Not exactly the same but pretty close.
Got mine back then released within the Celtos range, as "Ruined Church/Grave" not sure anymore, but as far as I know the walls are still available from Scotia Grendel, either in their fantasy-range, or the Historical one.

Just check it out ;)

Yes, structure is on both sides, made pics of one of the walls, front and back, minis as comparsion included ;)

The long pieces are 12cm, the short 8cm in length.
Only the entrance toppiece was not engraved from both sides, did it my self then, but maybe they have changed that.
And I opend the slots and windows by my self ;)
