Looks like you have enough figures for a game.
What do you have for terrain?
Also what rules are you planing to use?

Unfortunately I have no 20mm terrain as of yet. I have ordered a few resin middle eastern buildings and still waiting on them. Now that I have enough figures I will start making some of my own buildings. And yes I am using the Force on Force rules by Ambush Ally.

The one on the right looks good to me.
The structure on the left one seems to coarse.

I agree. I would have proffered to use something like wood glue instead but been having trouble finding the right stuff and the sand I got for free.

Have you considered using filler ? I used Polyfilla on some scratchbuilt middle-eastern buildings and I was very pleased with the results.

I tried 2 different fillers but both where to firm to spread and even when mixed with a bit of water I could not get them to really stick to the flat surface for the foam board

Your force is a force, of course, of course...

Good lookin' minis.  I also prefer the structure on the right - but think the filler on the left would also serve purpose.  I'd say mix the two.  Maybe use the coarse stuff for different structures etc.

As said, I used polyfilla finishing filler (rough translation from dutch ::)) that comes in a tube.  The layer I put on isn't too thick and it dries very fast.
I put some on a pallet and quickly spread it on the building using some cardboard as a spatula.
