28 mm terrain for WW2
« on: February 26, 2013, 11:34:19 AM »
Hi All,

Just wondering what terrain people would recommend for 28mm gaming. Looking at the standard minis (BAM/Artizan/Crusader).

I just found Hovel and am wondering how that stacks up size wise, does it look "right"?

Thanks!

KT

Hovels 28mm scale at about 1:72. If you're looking for buildings as obstacles and decoration they are fine. If you want to go for combat inside buildings they are to small.
Grandmanner scale around 1:50 and are realy big.

I use PMC Games on ebay in the UK for a lot of my rural stuff. They also do some VBCW stuff that's good for the home front.

Jens, who is also on the LAF has some great stuff for Normandy on his site:

I'd buy the lot if I could!

I also use Hovels stuff without a problem as well as some Conflix stuff which can be picked up on ebay.

Grandmanner are lovely but now out of my price range. I have two of their smaller pieces.

For mdf there us Sarissa Precision's Cityblock, WWII & Dutch/Belgian ranges.

Hello King Thor, for WW2 but also for other periods I produce a number of resin terrain pieces.
There are 2 types of wells, several sand bag pieces : round , long corner sections etc.
Soon there will be ruins, stone wall and more!
