Tabletop Workshop: 3D Printing Wargame Scenery Service
« on: March 01, 2013, 01:27:23 PM »
Hello all,
We are a small company from North Yorkshire in the UK. We've just started up a 3D printing service for wargame scenery as we enjoy the hobby and would like to contribute something to the wargaming community. Some of our designs can be used in Warhammer, 40k and LOTR. We design plastic models and can do one-off showcase prints for any custom-made scenery design and would love to help any wargamer finish off that ideal board. Our latest project was a highly detailed search light which can rotate and swivel as required. An image can be seen on our Facebook/Twitter accounts. (Links below)

We are just starting out and are not selling anything specific yet but will be soon. You can keep up to date with us on Facebook and Twitter for further information and design ideas . We look forward to working with you all and the rest of the Wargaming Community!

Do you have an actual email address?  Facebook and Twitter are fine for those people who like that social media thing.....many of us don't.

Could you make up some one sided architectural details for sticking to foamcore building shells, ornate doorways, balustrades, window surrounds, carved friezes, shutters etc. I am in need of some 28/30mm Venetian architecture  :?

Email is dan@enigmadesign.uk.com

Our website is http://tabletopworkshop.enigmadesign.uk.com/ however is still under construction. We are currently producing our own set of building pieces and these will be announced on our pages in the coming weeks! They have a variety of themes and one of the ones we're looking into is the Venetian theme. But thanks for the feedback. We'll keep you updated.

Where in North Yorkshire?
It's a big county.
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

Realistic trees for 28mm Wargames.

Now this is something I believe could probally be printed with this technique that would sell very well.

Looks good, I'll be interested in seeing what you come out with.

I doubt people would pay enough for them though.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Windows and architectural oddments of various styles etc. would be a boon to us scenery buffs. I'm also after Islamic pierced screens etc.
Warriors dreams, summer grasses, all that remains

Looks great. A good 3D printing service seems like a huge benefit to hobbyists and gamers.

We've written down the ideas above and are going to discuss them the next time we get the chance. Just so busy at the minute with other work we're struggling to get the chance  o_o. However, once again thanks for the positive feedback. We'll update when we get more to show! Should be in the next couple of days!

Architectural details for Victorian to modern buildings would be great. I liked the suggedtion of having panels (facades) that could be glued over a shell in foamcore or other such material. Roofing sections would also be great. 28mm is my preferred size but I'd imagine 15mm would sell well too.

At the moment we're working on a very exciting kit of paneled walls, floors and roofing to be released in the coming months. The gamer can buy a lot of these and build whatever they want out of them. Our first architectural design is based on an early medieval building. Think Ken Follett World Without End. I'll get pictures on as soon as possible!
