Cloud effects
« on: 06 March 2013, 11:04:30 PM »
Hey guys,

Looking for a little advise. I'm painting up some spheres  for my next Fantasy Delves game. Each sphere is painted a different color and i'd like to pretty them up and give them like a cloud effect as if something was swirling inside. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how I can pull it off.

Thanks in advance,

Tenz

Very difficult to paint it as if there's clouds inside it - it will only at best look as if it's cloudy from one direction.

Your best bet is to paint it with some kind of 'marble' effect I would think.

Airbrush is your best bet to get the fluffyness right.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the advice. My buddy has a air brush so I may give that a try.
