I've always liked that AoW Necromancer, but I would most certainly snip off the scythe blade.

How about Witchfinder General style figures? There might be a few of those around.

Or one of the Lead Adventure Minis?
Perhaps the plague doctor?

Be mindful of the prayers you send
Pray hard but pray with care
For the tears that you are crying now
Are just your answered prayers

I don't know if this'll suit your wants (GW necromancers look like battlemages? Well, what does a battlemage look like? :) ) but for completeness' sake, here's the Heresy necromancer.

A more uh "medically"-oriented Necromancer could be 'Felric, Anatomist (with Servant)' from the old Magnificent Egos line (I know they have some for sale at Noble Knight Games, and I also saw one on Fantasyladen.de not sure where else).

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

If you want, with the kit "empire battle mage" (or what the hell it is exactly), you can create something like this I created some time ago:

sorry for the poor pic...

Thanks for all the suggestions!
I promise to post pictures of the finished necromancer (whichever I choose). At my painting speed that will probably be sometime next year  lol

That bad boy is absolutely massive. I got him for my SA lurkers but he's too big to use  :'(

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."
