If you want a simple model then Morbius the Liche from GW is not very rare:

I also love the old Metal Magic liche, but he may be too skeletal for a necromancer:

Now sold by Mega Miniatures as "Skeletal wizard": http://freeboardgamesnow.com/skeletalwizard.aspx

Mega miniatures also have lots of other nice options among their wizards:

Cleric male reading

Wizard with book and staff

Wizard reading

I converted the last one to my own Heinrich Kemmler, using Morbius' head and staff. Incidentally I use him as my necromancer in our games of Coreheim.

Let me hear the battle cry
Calling on the wind
Let me see the banners fly
Before the storm begins

Pil: I'm sold! The conversion looked really good! I'll order the reaper hunchback necromancer for now and keep an eye out for morbius going for a good price. The Metal Magic liche would be perfect for the Border Town Burning restless dead warband, I'll have to get him to! Thanks

Thanks and good luck! That hunchback necromancer is a rather tasty model too I have to admit!
