Well done Overlord I wish you all the best
I"m jealous as I shall be sitting this one out as I'm travelling and will be overseas for a few weeks of the competition
Best wishes to all, its a brilliant competition and great fun to take part in

Thanks for taking on this daunting task Overlord. I really look forward to the contest, now to get out the miniatures, start planning and prepping :)

Need to decide if I'm going to push to enter this year, having sat out the last one - I seem to be falling into the habit of alternating LPLs, so 7 would form an elegant pattern with 3 & 5...

I'm not entirely a fan of the restrictions on basic photoshoppery - a well-chosen title & font could set the mood beautifully - but I understand why the restriction was put in place!

After my initial excitement I've realised I'm going to have to sit this one out. I'm putting the house on the market so my hobby time is now round about zero. I'd rather someone who could definitely commit to painting the full 50+ miniatures took my place!

Hmmm, yes, going to have to have a good think about this one. I *do* have the small matter of my university dissertation to write. I could talk to my tutor, but I'm not convinced this quite counts as grounds for a deadline extension...  lol

What’s the proper way to name our entry’s picture again? Last LPL a name structure was proposed to make things easier for the people running the thing… :?

A very good point. Thanks for bringing it up, as it will help me greatly organising each round.

Ideally your photo should be named in the following format:

forum_name_01_title_of your_entry

ie. overlord_01_Napoleons_HQ

Please use underlined spaces between words. The 2 digit number after your forum name should correspond with the round it is being submitted for (01-10). This is especially important for the initial submissions as they cover rounds 01 to 03. If possible try to keep the titles for entries brief.

Thank you for your assistance.

Greetings,

what did I read above ? "Ah how did I miss you" :)
Well its SOO true.
And how I do long to participate this year again. Especially as the bonus rounds would indeed fit my lead 'Everest' (which wasn't the case with last years rounds).
Unfortunately RL intrudes rather heavily this year (and even more next year) so I won't participate as a painter. But you can be sure I will wait eagerly each weekly update to vote and comment. THAT at least I can do.

I wish everyone participating such great fun
and good painting and photographing luck
