Mordheim, take your pick....
« on: August 09, 2013, 10:09:23 AM »
Hi

Have been looking through the Mord forums and found pick listed under some warbands, costing 10, but have no idea what the weapon does. Is it tha same as an axe, or perhaps something else?

Thanks

I don't have the rules to hand on this computer but if you look up the Coreheim rules I'm sure you will find it in there.

Hope this helps.

If not I'll look it out later.

It is probably refering to the pick axe that Dwarf Miners carry.
We just classify it as another type of Great Weapon to keep things simple (and cost it the same, too).

What' the difference between great and 2-handed?

I believe a great weapon kan still be used with one hand, but a two handed weapon requires, well, two hands to use.

That'd be my pick anyway...  :D
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

No difference, 2 terms but same meaning. It's because WHFB switched from using the term great weapon to 2 handed or vice versa (Can't remember now)

This.

Sorry.
I keep doing that.
I did, of course, mean two handed weapon.

Although I now have an idea using Daeothar's suggestion..... ;)
