Thank you! Y'all correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Ghost Miniatures used a bunch of Old Glory sculpts.
You're on the right track. Ghost miniatures is simply one of the many brand names that Old Glory has used for their miniatures.  You can still order them from old glory for not too much more than you paid and AFAIK, they were always Old Glory miniatures.

Great work on the Boars and Standard bearers. I'm glad my Citadel Standard bearer worked out for you. It looks really nice!

Hey guys, here's a much-delayed update. We played the seventh session of our Song of Blades & Heroes campaign a couple weeks back. The scenario pitted my dwarves against an old-school chaos warband. The dwarves won, but the victory came at a steep cost. Check out the blog post here: http://chicagoskirmish.blogspot.com/2013/11/dark-days-of-qaarra-session-7-hills.html

Here are a few pics from the game (more on the blog):

(These are the dwarves featured on pages 7 and 8 of this thread.)

LOOKIN' GOOD! Your games remind me of the ones we used to have in the basement of the Mai Tai Bar long ago with friends long gone, If I were that type, I'd be envious.

Yes indeed! There's one thing we have lots of here in Chicago, and that's basements. They're great for gaming!

Thanks, we've got a fairly regular schedule at this point, which lets us plan ahead for some pretty fun games.

Here's another small update: a group of three wights for my undead army. In Song of Blades & Heroes these guys will be warband leaders and champions, but in Kings of War they'll be fielded as a 3-man elite unit. The figures are all from Reaper, acquired in a big grab bag of undead stuff from ebay.

Ah, a long time has passed without an update. Here's a meaty one with lots of pics! We played 3 games of Song of Blades & Heroes last night. The games were set in Qaarra, our campaign world that we explored in last summer's campaign. It's still going strong! http://chicagoskirmish.blogspot.com/p/dark-days-have-come-to-lands-of-qaarra.html

Here's a link to the full blog post from this week's game: http://chicagoskirmish.blogspot.com/2014/02/dark-days-of-qaarra-session-8.html

In the first game, my ratmen tried to seize some supplies from Mattias's world-weary chaos raiders. They raised the alarm, though, and my rats were soon fleeing with their tales between their legs.

In the second game, Tim's otherworldly monstrosities were attempting to drive my rats back into the sewers from whence they sprang. The tower in these photos is the pumphouse with a drain inside that leads into the sewers.

Here's my big troll, moments before he scored a gruesome kill on one of Tim's burbling beasties, causing a cascade of failed morale checks that pretty much won the game for me.

That looks like a nice campaign you have going on there. The scenery is impressive!
Where do the burbling beasties come from ? They look spiffy.

Most (maybe all?) of the beastie warband is made up of figures from the Descent Boardgame.  I watched them being painted up a couple months ago and they are nice figs.

Yep, they're from Descent. Tim's goal for our game night was to field an entire warband of painted beasties from the Descent board game. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

I've got another game coming up this week, and I wanted to knock out a couple of terrain projects over the weekend.

First up, I wanted to create some "town square" pieces to give a little bit of structure to my medieval village. I had a roll of that cobblestone vinyl mat, so I went about cutting a couple decent-sized pieces and affixing them to MDF. After that it was a little bit of paint and flocking -- lots of flocking, actually. The finished products should work well either as the base for cottages or as empty space between buildings.

And here's a little vignette I put together so I could convince myself these would be useful on the tabletop.

Nice job on the town square pieces.  I have some of that mat, and now know what to do with it.  Thanks.
This is my boomstick!

Cheers Dave. I've got quite a lot of that vinyl cobblestone mat leftover, so let me know if you spot any other inspiring uses for it!

Will do.  I bought a bunch of it on sale after Christmas from Michael's.  I figured I would just use it as-is.  Gluing it to MDF is brilliant though.
