Horde in ATZ?

Does anybody here knows if there´s any rule in ATZ for horde attack? I mean like a massive zombie attack for some turns to spice up some boring moments while playing.

 I was thinking of using like cards or some combination on the activation dices to Spawn some quick horde towards the survivors. I´m worried about the gunshots spawning more zombies but maybe during the horde attack the zombie crowd is so loud that the shots does not call for more zombies.

 Any suggestion?

I just played with the optional rule that all double 1s and 6s on activation lead to more zombie spawns as per the start of the scenario. This way, there are a lot more Zeds on the boards. If they congregate in one place, I replace about ten of them with a CD-sized marker with a dice on it showing the actual number of zombies in that horde. This marker then moves around as a whole.

The best part of ATZ, or any Two Hour Wargame, is that Its your game. If you want 30 zeds to show up at a spawn, put them down. If you want the crowd to muffle the gunshots (I like that idea alot, btw) then say thats whats happening. Ed always encourages the players to add or subtract to the rules for thier own liking. You make a really memeorable cinematic RPG wargame that way. Good luck, have fun!
