Lowtardog, are you using 28mm or 15m miniatures? if 15, which ninjas are you using? I'm struggling to find any in 15mm....... Help!

Rebel Minis also sell 15mm ninja:
http://www.rebelminis.com/15mmninjas.html

They are having a 20% off sale until April 30th, I believe that the code is "Rebspring":

Great idea for a thread. And I'm torn Jim...I want to hate you, but I love your work! :P

I just recently bought some Bushido starters, but haven't tried the game itself. It looks good for skirmish games with fantasy elements to it.

I'm planning to buy some boxes of Wargames Factory samurai in the summer, and have been looking for rules to provide unit based games for those. I've read the free Kensei rules but I think they're more involved than I am looking for, and SBH won't work for squads. The one I'm leaning towards at the moment is FUBAR's Medieval w/ the Samurai expansion. Two pages of rules. I'm hoping to give them a quick test run this week, and I'll post my thoughts when I do.

Two wee things:

What's the general opinion of Black Powder (or even Pike and Shotte) for Samurai battles?  Thought about it myself when I got a box or two of bendy Zvezda plastics ages ago, but not much since then.

But since I got a box of the new Zvezda not-bendy plastics at Salute, I'm starting to ponder again.*  What's the general opinion of those?  They are very pretty to my eye and I wouldn't mind building a couple of little armies out of them.  Only thing is, after you throw all that movement tray and flag marker nonsense out, the figures themselves are about the same price as 28mm plastics. ;D  Might have to hunt down some 'army building' deals, if they exist.

*And Jimbibbly's photos there are another kick in the seat.  Whoof!  Very sorry I missed it on the day.
