Shiver me.... honeypots?
« on: April 14, 2008, 07:40:27 PM »
Just a couple of quick pics of something I finished today (well, aside from a nice protective coating of Dullcote).

Eureka teddy bear pirates - now I need to pick up a couple of 7 years war... err, I mean picnic teddies to stand in for British marines, a toy ship and a couple of buildings.

On the other hand: they also make zulu wars teddies.. hmm..

Currently painting: Black Hat Three Musketeers range.

lovely stuff! Great painting and basing!

I love the details, like the honey pots and the match the gunner bear is carrying.

How do one get the idea of making teddy bear minis as soldiers in the first place? I wish I had a mind like that .

You should have submitted them into the current painting contest.  Then mine could have been paired against yours.  :)

I pitty the Heffelump or Woozle that tries to take their honey pot.  Too bad you don't have a Cabin Cub to round them out.  Great Job!!!

Our favourite is the one with a bath duck on his shoulder and a wooden leg.
If you look close he's got two legs, he's just hiding the right one and kneeling on the wooden one.
