Thought I'd stop here first to say hello! I've been painting miniatures since the early 90s. Most of my old stuff (except for some Citadel/Marauder dwarfs) is long gone as I've moved a lot and didn't want to take it all with me. But, I was directed this way by someone I was trading models with and had to join when I saw how diverse it was here--anyplace actively discussing CoC models is a place I want to be

I am originally from NC. Charlotte specifically, but spent several years in Boone and one in Hickory as well. And if I remember correctly, Winston-Salem used to have a pretty good gaming/hobby shop back in the 90s.

Hiya,  Yeah, Winston-Salem had a good group back in the 90's, now its rather dead.  I think there are about 3 of us now, and everyone has scheduling problems.

Once a month (3rd Saturday) I go to Parker, Banner, Kent & Wayne near Charlotte to play historicals.

There's a store in Mocksville Heroes Headquarters) but its mostly Magic CCG's.

There's another in High Point (Gaming Underground) but its CCG and GW.

Ah well.
