that's a pom pom, an early Autocannon, not a MG. cal 3.7 cm or so
The more you know  :D
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Vickers-Maxim pom-pom - fired a 1 pound shell.  Designed for mounting on warships to deter fast torpedo boats (similar intention to the Hotchkiss revolver cannons, but far better design concept).

I'm sure you will do what you want... and for me, not even necessary.

A bit and bridle, though is fairly easy to make. I take sewing pins, cut them and glue them in the mouth. I then make little squares out of mulliput and attach them to the ends of the pin. That's the bit. I use normal paper for the reins, bending strips into a "V" shape. The bend is glued to the top of the hand and the ends are glued to the bit. I take another small piece of paper and bend it into a "7" shape and glue it on the bottom of the hand. You can see the construction fairly well here:

Just a idea...
Thanks for the explanation. I fear my orcs would cry if I took their wargs away from them.:) They do look nice with the lancers on their backs though.

These are the newest bases I've painted up. They'll probably be used in both our regular Pulp Alley setting and Venus 1881.

Here's the newest miniature I painted up for our Pulp Alley games. We'll use him to represent the leader of the Arbis. I designed him as a Terror so he is a one-man league. The miniature is sculpted by Tin Man Miniatures by the name of Wormwood, Evil Treeman.

Wonderfully frightening. Who makes the objective markers?

Thanks! But that's all Mila's work. My sole contribution was spraying on the dull-coat.  lol

kidterminal --- those round ones are by Spartan Games, Dystopian Legions - Empire of the Blazing Sun: Battlefield Objectives. Really nice detail and a bit larger that I expected.

THANKS

Pulp Alley - Ladies Night AAR

Here’s some photos I snapped from one of our games this week…

Three members of the Pulp Alley Ladies Brigade prepare for another savage battle!...

> Mila is playtesting a new Arbis Terror she designed with new abilities and rules from our upcoming Perilous Island book (1 model).
> Makayla is playing Mielikki and her she-wolf companions (3 models).
> Kat is playing Captain Cadence and a some cadets from St. Arsenal’s Preparatory Academy (8 models).

Big-Ears wastes no time rushing straight for the significantly larger Arbis Terror…

Mielikki takes steady aim at the giant Arbis and pierces its thick bark…

The giant Terror rushes the wolf, beating her with its powerful limbs…

Mielikki races to the aid of her companion but is too late – the brave wolf goes down!...

Sgt. Harper leads a group of cadets to secure the Cytherium collector. Failing her Cunning check, Harper is badly burned by a sudden release of super-hot exhaust…

Suffering from strange hallucinations, Patches shoots a cadet that comes too close to his hiding place. And Mielikki’s other companion leaps to protect the injured cadet…

Cadence climbs the cliffs and Cadet Penelope pursues Patches’ pet pig, Pinochle…  :D

Mielikki is seriously injured brawling the savage Arbis Terror…

Badly bleeding, Mielikki rolls away from the Terror as the advancing cadets pepper the giant with bullets…

Rather than closing with Mielikki, the Arbis Lord moves in to destroy some of the mining equipment, but encounters one of Patches’s booby-traps!...

Kat and Makayla enjoy seeing the Arbis on fire. YAY! …

Wanting nothing more to do with the flames, the giant creature rushes towards the advancing line of rifle armed cadets...

Meanwhile, atop a nearby cliff, Cpt Cadence identifies the last crate of missing medical supplies from Earth…

On the left, two cadets help Isosilvati douse the flames and save some of the supplies. In the center, Cadence moves into position and takes a well-aimed shot at the lumbering giant…

Under attack from all sides, the Arbis Terror is finally felled…

Makayla and Kat celebrate their victory… while Mila plots her revenge!

It looked like great fun. Could the terror masquerade as a tree when it's amongst other trees? That might give it some sort of ranged defense.

That Arbis Terror is a wonderful beastie and has been finkished to a great level.

Now please stop showing those Sailor Lasses, as I am trying really hard to resist them at the moment and seeing them painted like that really does not help.
 ;)

I would add my voice to this, but I've all ready succumbed. Those sailor girls will feature in my London Zombie incident as the "Women's Auxiliary Yachting Club". Don't give in old man. Stay strong.
