For other local angles, there's also the story of Enrique of Malacca, who escaped the Magellan expedition shortly after the battle of Mactan.

It's the soft edition, edited every 2 weeks . There was 24 Books in this serie. Include 2 story at each time.
Larousse produce in the same period :
France history And the wild west.
