Saturnine Mercenaries
« on: April 06, 2013, 01:49:41 AM »
In 188--, colonial Aetherscaphs reached the furthest sunward they could before the attenuation of the solar wind made it impossible to return. There in the asteroid belt they rescued a crew of Saturnines of the famed ringed planet. Their own ships had penetrated too far sunward and could no longer function in such proximity to the star. They returned with the Colonials to Earth where they sell their martial services as nations can pay, ever hoping to find some way to return home...by whatever means necessary.

Figures are a mix of Games Workshop Tau and Wargames Factory colonial British.

You, sir, are not allowed to attempt a takeover of the solar system until your octopus sobers up.

They are like peas in a pod. Nicely done.

Wow!  What a cool blending of the two figure sets.  Very imaginative.  Great color scheme as well. Almost looks like they are from a slightly different spread of the light spectrum.

Hah - weren't you on the verge of getting rid of those WF Colonial infantry at one point?    :)

Fantastic.  I'd like some larger pics, please.  What's clustered around their belts?

Well done, Froggy.

An almost seamless meshing of two utterly different figures...
