Going the 1/72 way for Victory Decision
« on: April 07, 2013, 05:34:20 PM »
Although I have 15mm forces for ViDe - bigger is better, so the up scaling is underway

The Armourfast Cromwell is a nice model

and I have Italeri Fast Build Panthers and  some Armourfast Shermans as well,  but need a Stug III really - oh, and some halftracks  :)

A box each of Valiant Germans, US and Brits in their 1/72 (chunky but nice - just like me) give you all you need for a Platoon Force.

Command Figures
Radio Operators
NCOs with SMGs
LMGs
HMGs
Light and Medium Mortars
Bazookas, Piats and Panzerschrecks and Panzerfausts

all in 1 box at less than a tenner -

now if only I had more time............

by the way like most here I am now officially mad  ;D  I have WW2 in 3 scales

15mm for FOW
20mm (underway) for ViDe and Bolt Action and
28mm for Operation Squad

and I quite fancy 6mm to tart up the Memoir 44 boardgame

and I still have Ancients, Napoleonics, Pulp, Superheroes, Fantasy, Sci Fi and Post Apoc and boardgames to paint, never mind play

but I'm happy  :D
No dear, they are not toys, they are models

You can't go wrong with 1:72 and yours look the business, I have been a 20mm convert for about a year now and the variety of kits available is great. I quite fancy giving Victory Decision a go and I'll just have to pick and choose bits from my Battlegroup forces.

Very nice, and I can confirm from personal exp. that ViDe Plays very well in 20mm.

@Pauld - I still have a lot of 20mm around, if you are interested PM me, would be good to have them in competent Hands!  :)
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de
