Those are nice - I like the subtle highlighting. Thanks for sharing.

BTW, who is the manufacturer?
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!

They are by Foundry, but the slinger that is Black Tree Design.

Very nice figures! And you'll love Dux Brittaniarum. One of the most fun game- systems I've played for many years.

No more Foundry Iīm afraid. That one is a sample I got many years ago. All the ones I have now are Black Tree.

I like Black Tree. The variation in poses is really nice, and for something like Dux Brit, with small forces, I think it makes them look really individual.

I painted these three yesterday:

I got a problem with the slinger. The wash reacted bad with the paint. Not sure about the reason. I didīnt get this problem with the first three.

More lovely painted miniatures.

What kind of inks are you using? Sometimes Vallejo Game Color ones donīt work very well if the base colour is too bright. GW ones don't have that problem.

Cheers.

It is a house mix: 1/2 water, 1/2 Future and a bit of artist acrylic burnt sienna. May be the paint still fresh.

Three more painted yesterday:

I am not happy. I had problems with the flesh paint, the brush and again the wash. Hope the next will be better.

They look good Emilio.
Are you using an Army-painter style dip, or a wash made from paint?
