Richard III Memorial Miniature UPDATED 10.04.13
« on: April 10, 2013, 07:45:12 AM »
Well, as the pic is now in the Wars of the Roses section of the Perry site I reckon it's OK to post up a pic of Richard busting out of the car park in Leicester!

Hope you like him.

Darrell.

Hi Aly,

Probably quite a few I would imagine. It's a superb miniature, Michael has done a great job in capturing Richard III in his glorious moment!

Here's a couple more pics that I snapped before sending him off (not the best of pics but I was without a laptop and the usual software at the time).

Thanks again chaps/chapesses.

I've got some plans for another one of the Richard III castings form the Perry's which will be a vignette of Francesco Gonzaga's crossing of the river Taro at the Battle of Fornovo.

I plan to be working on the vignette this weekend so there should be some nice pics going up on my blog and to be posted here soon (to cheer me up for missing Salute this weekend!).

You can see the meagre beginnings of the vignette here:

Cheers,
Darrell.

really well done :)

I do wish the council would put something humorous like this up in the city center, would add some humor to my walk to college.

That would certainly be unorthodox!  lol
