Vikings and Saxons !
« on: April 14, 2013, 12:54:31 PM »
So the efforts of others have compelled me to post up my slowly growing project.

I'll try to update progress on a regular basis but I also post up most work on my blog here :http://wolftemplars.blogspot.com.au/

Cheers

JP

Very tasty indeed! Thank you for sharing.
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!

What a smashing group!!  :-*

The bloody shields turned out great, and your freehand looks well executed. I especially like the pattern along the banner at the pole.

What is the dog? It's huge! It's not a mount for son to ride into battle is it?  lol

About time you showed up!

Saw these in the flesh a couple of days ago, very very nice.  I am now plotting to battle against them.

One question, what did you use for the blood?
Gods, monsters and men,
Will die together in the end.

Wow what an awesome amount of feedback !! Thanks so much :)

These arnt the 1st Vikings Ive painted- as a primer before I began the army I painted up a largish Warband for SAGA- Jomsvikings -

The way I plan to base all models- saga or for War and Conquest will see me able to use these models as well- but given the large pose variety they work better I feel as a loose warband.
