Very nice. Having just watched the first episode of Michael Woods' new series about Alfred the Great and then seen this post I'm feeling inspired to dig out my Vikings.

Those are fantastic! Lovely colours and shading/highlights. A Viking army is my next project, and there's some greatinspiration there!
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!
