An amateur suggestion, but could you paint a snow effect upon the mat? Drybrush to white?

An amateur suggestion, but could you paint a snow effect upon the mat? Drybrush to white?

I thought about it. But, unless I airbrush it I think the paint will become too thick and break when I rull of the mat.

It's all good though. I'm probably going to change the bases instead or going to try and mix...
