Thanks. Not as easy to scale up (I usually simply double all distances and board size when going 15mm to 28mm) as I hoped but able to be done.

Ideally one would make the centimeters into inches, but that would make a few of the cavalry times just run across a regular table in 1 single turn! So in turn that would require double table dimensions. Just using centimeters would be just weird, as some weapons would have extremely short ranges, for instance a half-musket fires 10/20 centimeters, where the 10 stands for short range and 20 for long range.

I don’t think translating the game into 28mm would be impossible but a clever solution would be required so that you won't need a mega table and still have decent ranged combat situations.
