I don't understand why they did the Italians for NOT in the desert. Could have picked much more appropriate uniforms, sun helmets - much like Artizan or Empress offer.

Did they not also have a Valentine infantry tank? That's what I saw in the pics.

it is my understanding that in combat helmets were worn and the pictures we know are usually not from the combat line.
Also from what I read, the Italain army did not have enough tropical issue and many went greenish at first.
Also note that the packs are tagged ", steel helmets" which in Perry terminology usually means that there will be others with other hats.

Hi,

The tanks that were on display are produced by Blitzkrieg Miniatures.

The tanks on display were a Valentine mk2, Crusader mk1 & mk2, and Italian M13/40.

These vehicles will be available from the 1st week in May.

Many more vehicles are on the way over the next few weeks.

Hope that helps

Regards

Paul

Friend was told at the Perry stand at Salute that the vehicles are 1/48th rather than 1/56. Did anyone else ask?

Since all my desert tanks and trucks are the latter, I'm not sure whether to invest in the Perry tanks and carriers... but an Italian M13/40 is much desired.

Hi,

Those pictures posted above are our 1/48 scale versions, the models on the perry's stand are the 1/56 scale models.

Hope that helps

Hi Paul!

I sent you an email this morning as I dug around, before this thread even came around.

What scale are these? The site seems to suggest 1/48 - but then there is something to the effect of 1/56 being released. These are the Perry crossover, correct?

EDIT: thanks, your post came when I made mine...  ::)

On the subject of Italians, yes, I want sun-helmets.  :-*

now this is a bit confusing.
so blitzkrieg miniatures will offer both scales? or abandon 1/48?
