Interesting, I'm just finishing up painting my Scotland Yard company and have done the same thing about leaving the power cables off the electrotruncheons for the same aesthetic reason.

Nice stuff.  8)

When you're linking to specific posts in your blog it's best to use a direct link to the piece, eg: http://wargaminggallimaufry.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/scotland-yard-and-mystery-of-finished.html

Otherwise when someone comes to read this in just a couple of months it'll just go to your front page and whatever your most recent posts are.

If you time and/or inclination have a read of this: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=46055.0

Nice work chap

I had a look at the figures but couldn't get on with the power-cords. I really like the idea of Victorian era pulp tinged with horror
"Ho, ho, ho! Well, if it isn't fat stinking billy goat Billy Boy in poison! How art thou, thou globby bottle of cheap, stinking chip oil? Come and get one in the yarbles, if ya have any yarbles, you eunuch jelly thou!"

You're welcome mate, you're new so no reason why you might have spotted it. I did that post after getting into a new period and searching on here and finding links to posts which had nothing to do with what I was looking for...  ::)

Nicely done!
Agree with the power cable thing. As you say, they are such nice models that I would like the option of using the figures in a 'normal' setting too.

Regarding linking to your blog: Please put at least a teaser pic on here.
You are much more likely to convince someone to take a look at the rest on your blog that way.

Has anyone tried replacing the power cables with guitar string yet?  I have seen that done on W40K figures to good effect.

Good advice.... I've modified the original post (now I've worked out how to post photos!) to include a photo.

It works!

I thought that this was a new thread when I went to it this time and certainly made me want to see more.
