the stand is an aluminium tube covered in railway tree scrub. The statue is an ainsty casting of a Chinese dragon and the base is an oval renedra base with water effect and tall grass reeds.

Indeed that is an excellent flight stand!
Is that a 1/72 Huey? It works well with the 28mm figures.

The Huey is a 1/48th scale italeri kit with modifications. The top glass was inked with green wash from GW to simulate the anti glare glass on the real helicopters. The two pilots are conversions from the 1/48th Tamiya jeep with head swaps from the downed chopper crew.
The kit was bought cheap on a bring and buy and came about purely because I had bought some door gunners and thought they were cool.

Nice paint jobs and the huey is great. This is another period I'd love to get in to. I rather like the look of Force of Arms and Parkfield. I was looking at trying to find a cheap (ha!) Corgi huey but having seen the job you've done on the Italeri kit it might be a good option.

Corgi was a consideration but went plastic which was far easier to mount and also allowed me to model internal flight crew. Cheaper option but needed a lot of work...

Lovely work, the Huey is outstanding with a fantastic base, but I like all of the work, even Rambo(who has always been one of my pet hates).

May I ask who made the M113?
I have the Corgi M113.
Have always been "mad" that they made it in 1/43 scale.
All their other stuff is 1/50.

Baker company 28 mm M113. Resin body with lead tracks/wheels, turret, m60's and crew. Loads of baggage included but no decals unfortunately. Decals from Tamiya 1/48th jeep.
Flag from perry ACW figure set.
Next pics are two different jungle pill boxes that I painted for WW2 pacific but fit in well with Nam scenario
