These buildings are great; I like to scratch build a lot of my buildings but I also love the laser cut buildings available. I'm sure I'll be picking up one or two of these.

EDITED:

Okay, I take back my earlier skepticism...after staring at the pics quite a bit.  I'm encouraged to see more stuff on the way.  I'd really like interior shots of all the buildings.  Heck I'd consider plunking down for the full five if I can see what's inside each.  4Ground is great for doing "fully fleshed" MDF stuff, so interiors, staircases, walls, etc.

I was initially put off by the colours used, but I can cover a couple or dim them with washes.  I hope 4Ground brings their A-game with some nice big centerpieces.

Any word if I can buy these straight from 4Ground -or a retailer which sells both?  I want to buy a bunch of additional 4Ground stuff too, but I hate shipping from the UK...so I was hoping to get them all in one place.

Please post more pics, and definitely keep the good stuff comin'.

4Ground will have them on their site in a couple of weeks. Orders over £100 from us are post free.
There will be regular releases of new buildings, including centrepiece ones (Sheriff's is first).

The colours are a bit duller than the photos tend to show. The interiors of all can be seen by just looking at the insides of Main Street Bldg 1 - http://www.greatescapegames.co.uk/deadmanshand/dmhbuildings/dead-mans-hand-main1.html -  and Side Street Bldg 1 - http://www.greatescapegames.co.uk/deadmanshand/dmhbuildings/dead-mans-hand-side1.html

If there's any other 4Ground stuff we should be selling, then tell me and we'll get it in.

Eh, I used 4Ground for several periods...but their American Legends has some great cabins that could be used for more out-of-town stuff.  The other stuff I like is not pre-painted and may not fit in with your goals.

Eventually I was going to grab up their beautiful Rorkes Drift set (huge buildings, some great walls, wagon, and outhouses etc.)

http://www.4ground.co.uk/Default.aspx?page=268&pid=119

I would simply shingle the roof etc.  Their "general purpose wagon" is also great.

http://www.4ground.co.uk/Default.aspx?page=268&pid=148

They have a couple different wagons/carts which I use.  They have some great sheets of generic wheels, etc.

http://www.4ground.co.uk/Default.aspx?page=249

They have the "thunderbox" toilets and other "out buildings".

http://www.4ground.co.uk/Default.aspx?page=294

Some great walls (granted these aren't pre-paints etc.)

http://www.4ground.co.uk/Default.aspx?page=293

They have some great staircase add-ons, some fireplaces, and even sets of quality doors (players could add more doors to buildings etc.).  They have a whole host of stuff you could use for the Old West.  It's a lot of the "detritus" stuff that really flushes out a table.  I'm stoked as a whole though, because 4Ground is far and away my favorite company to deal with (their stuff is just...heads and tales above other stuff I've had).  I can't wait to see what's in store!

Also, just to verify - do most of the buildings have interior walls (ie. separate rooms) etc?  Also, I assume there is no interior access in the two-story buildings, just the exterior staircase right?

Elbows, take a look at all the pics on the website (there are over a dozen photos for Main Street Building 1) and you will get an exact answer to all questions you may have.

We do some of those items you suggested; I did a blog article - http://www.greatescapegames.co.uk/rules-of-engagement/hobby/painting-4ground-walls - on painting their walls. I have done a few wagons also (we are actually going to bring out one with harnessed horses...) and we stock the thunderboxes and some outhouses. We will certainly add some more and construct an extra terrain page in the shop.

Thanks for the tips.

Sounds good...I was only looking at your DMH page and not your larger store.  I'd definitely link to that section for some of the outhouses and such.  They're a perfect fit.  I'll likely make an order to assist in the re-birth of Drake's Branch sometime very soon...even though I "shouldn't".

I have plenty of rulebooks and models I can sell off!  lol

PS: I managed to look at all of the buildings which you didn't have interior shots for...so dumb luck I didn't see them.  Looks good and more in line with what I expect from those 4Ground fellas. Cheers.

PSS: For those guys who haven't done 4Ground stuff before, it's simply superb.  They do two sheets of mdf per wall, so you have laser-engraved textures on both sides.  It does make the buildings heavy and EXTREMELY sturdy...You can see this from the pictures - the walls are quite thick.  They're a bit time intensive to assemble, but you can see the end result is fabulous.

Great point about the sturdiness, Elbows. The DMH building walls are about 5mm thivk, compared with other manufacturers whose buildings are 2-3mm thick. This makes them resistant to ham fisted, clumsy gamers! It also means they are very solid and won't warp and, with 4Grounds super precision, means that they go together very easily. I recommend putting a few of them together in sessions. By assembling multiple buildings in batches over several modelling sessions you get lovely looking buildings that will last and last. I wrap mine in a bit of bubble wrap and keep them in a terrain box for storage.

The merchandise is top-notch, but will you lot also do a stagecoach aside from the other excellent wagons? I know I'd buy one at the drop of a hat!

There is one minor beef I have with the 4Ground wagons - they're really props and not suitable to mount miniatures in them.  The beds of each wagon will not take a normal slottabase.  I would love a stagecoach...and something like that would be well within 4Ground's reach.  We'll see!  lol

They are nice buildings but not sure about the price. Between the exchange rate, shipping and such it may be cheaper for me to get other MDF buildings and finish them myself. That was my same issue with the Blackwater Gultch/Battle Flag buildings, nice but expensive for those of us overseas.
