Well, this is pretty much a placeholder for now.

Spawned by the thought of having 76 extra Perry Desert Rats, and the excellent Company B LRDG trucks and equipment, I have decided to partake fully in a project diary, a start to finish. As I write this, the various parts should be finding their way to my home. A big thanks to Brent and Bruce at Company B! http://035f399.netsolhost.com/companyB_models_LRDG.html

What will be here? A new project! 6 LRDG trucks, including a Bofors 37mm conversion, and a half-patrol of LRDG. I'm currently thinking that I will make them G Patrol - the Guards Patrol, as we don't see them modeled very often.

Stay tuned for more exciting project bits.

Thanks! Should be quite the show. After all, who wouldn't want to paint their desert vehicles in various pinks and blues?  :D

Always nice to have you check in Helen! I'm really excited by this one, honestly. Those Perry minis and the Company B trucks are just dying to meet each other!

I have adored those LRDG Chevy trucks isnce I was a boy. Should a *real* one ever come into my possession before I die I know I would pass away a content man. That or a Velásquez painting. I am not picky in that respect.

The Italians at first - but well after this gets done, so no rush by any means. I envision creating some Raid type scenarios such as the Beat Ups that the group did - supply convoys, airfields etc.

I've even managed to find a suitable WACO cabined biplane that I might pick up. It's unfortunately just a vac-formed plastic kit, which I've never worked with though.

>>Opponents??

You mean the La Compania Auto-Avio-Sahariana? I think that should be his next project :D  We have almost everything available to game them as well.

I'm working on a Ansaldo-Bohler 47/32 gun currently.  After I get a few of these other projects off my plate, I'd like to do a 1/56  Caproni Ca.309.  I'll send you one Grant, once I manage to make the kit and figure out how to cast it!  Should make a good objective piece on the table.
