french & indian battle
« on: May 01, 2013, 01:36:16 AM »
Hi all
have decided to start playing some games as well as painting figgies
so here is my first step into gaming recently
A FIW game using some rules I have had for a while
FORCES
British ...Battalion of foot (yellow facings) ,2 companies of Jersey Blues & 2 companies of independents (green facings) , one artillery piece.
French ...2 Battalions of regular infantry ( blue facings and red facings) 2 companies of grenadiers and 2 companies of courier de bios.

The scenario is the British holding a frontier farm and the French trying a pincer attack.
Unfortunately for the French they were out gunned and the charge of the redcoats was too much for the French.
Have a look for yourselves ...maybe I was a little bias?

Your minis, terrain and photography are so pretty the way you have presented them here. Excellent work all around!

I have to say your terrain makes the battlefield come alive.  Excellent minis as well.  Thanks for posting.
