The O'Leary Cowgirls
« on: May 01, 2013, 01:50:12 PM »
I'm painting these up for a bloke who won a give away at my blog. There's four of them, each named for one of the O'Leary girls.  This one is my sister Theresa.

The figure is from Reaper and was sculpted by Bob Ridolfi.

I'll post the others as I get them off the painting table and take photos of them.

Thank you.

That's a MIGHTY FINE LOOKIN' Gal! She gives your Pirate Babes a run for their money. You have a real flair for the Ladies of various genres... & I would imagine the Guys would also look TERRIFIC. VERY WELL DONE!

A painter for only a year?

How long are years in your parts?

A work of art in miniature.

Gracias,

Glenn

Hello Kris! You've already seen all these girls. I'm still struggling with the chaps on the last one and I took a few days off from her to get some perspective on the piece.

This is my sister Leilon and she's the nicest of all of us sisters. She's also a bit ditzy and that's why I picked this sculpt to represent her.

The figures is from Reaper and was sculpted by Bob Ridolfi.

I'm still struggling with doing the basing. Those clumps of yellow are just too big and I didn't do any highlighting with paints on my gravel or rocks. I just got in some flower clumps from Scenic Express and will be using them on future works.

Not my type of figures - but the paint work is top notch (and well better than mine!).  They'd be welcome in Drake's Branch any day.
