INVASION! Black Ops in the occupied UK
« on: January 04, 2016, 12:28:54 PM »

We've been messing about with Black Ops recently.  Nice solid game, plays in about an hour and has satisfying elements of tension.

We played our first game using the stealth rules just after Christmas and we're found it a little difficult to get to grips with at first, but once we understood the basics it flowed really well.

The scenario was an assassination scenario set in the Soviet occupied UK in 1980 drawing on inspiration from the old INVASION! comics from 2000AD and Clive Egleton's Partisan books. You can see some pictures here.

If only there were a set of rules, two supplements and the start of a new figure range in 20 and 28mm that were themed around the Winter of '79 and this...

soon...

Good stuff.  I've been scratching away at some ideas myself, but I'm always happy to see anything from the Winter of '79 boys.
