I recognize your name from the Perry site! Your article on painting skin http://www.perry-miniatures.com/pages.php?page=painting-dark-african-skin
was terrific.  :D
Thanks! I really need to do some more. I was in the middle of doing the tutorial about how to paint their clothing.... and then GW changed all the paint names!

Of course, Plynkes will eventually point out that the SMLE foreguards are wood all the way round and the barrel isn't exposed.  I think there's a prize awarded on LAF for getting it right or wrong, I forget which.  lol

I was about to do so... lol

Excellent job on these figures, Stephen! 8)

Welcome Stephen to the WW2 board with your lovely looking miniatures.

I like the poses you have done for the plastics.

Looking forward in seeing more of your work here.

Helen
Best wishes,

Lovely stuff.  Any idea what the table's going to look like?
I always thought that the confused fighting on the outskirts of Tobruk would make a suitable game for 28mm models.

Not quite sure yet, I was thinking of road running down from higher ground with some scrub scattered around.. probably a small village and an oasis.

Here are some close ups with the fixed rifles!

I've done some subtle conversions for the next section too :)
